Regenesys Business School officially unveiled Education for All (EdForAll), its online higher education portal yesterday.

Regenesys is an international business school with campuses in Sandton, Lagos and Mumbai, with over 200,000 students and alumni from 190 countries.

Through EdForAll, the private business school provider offers graduate certificates, aimed at students who did not meet the requirements for entry to a higher education institution, bachelor’s, postgraduate or master’s degree program in administration of Business (MBA).

In addition, it combines education, technology, the internet, financial engineering and philanthropy.

According to Regenesys, EdForAll is based on the ‘study now, pay later’ principle, whereby students pay a monthly commitment fee of R 500 for the duration of their studies and then pay the remaining fees once they have completed their studies. got a job or a promotion after graduation. qualification.

Regenesys Group Chairman Dr Marko Saravanja said EdForAll enables access to education for those who could not access it in the past.

Saravanja points out that the biggest barrier to accessing education is money, which is how Regenesys created EdForAll. “It’s about studying now and paying later – study now, get your bachelor’s or MBA, and afford it now. “

The essence of EdForAll is to enable everyone in the world to have access to education, he says.

“The Internet and education are the two greatest equalizers in the world. With the Internet, we can provide access to anyone in Africa, India, China, South America or anywhere; and with education we can empower people.

“EdForAll seeks to empower people around the world and empower all parents who cannot afford to send their children to college. We believe that education is a human right and that it should not be privileged for the few people who have the money.

Indherani Reddy, head of the Regenesys Foundation, points out that EdForAll is only for online courses, noting that EdForAll students will not pay the rest of their fees until they have completed their studies, graduated and earned a degree. use.

She explains, “While the students are studying with us, they will pay R500 per month for the duration of their degree. If you do a higher certificate, it will take more than a year; for an MBA, it will be more than two years that you will pay the coherent subscription to be able to have access to the learning on our portal.

“The student will graduate with us and graduate. When you find a job and are back on your feet financially, only then will you reimburse the tuition fees that did not generate any interest during your study time.

“We are honored to be able to make this important contribution to the world during this pandemic. We want to wipe away the tears of all parents who cannot afford to pay for their children’s higher education.

Programs available exclusively through EdForAll include bachelor’s degrees in business administration, accounting, banking, retail and public management.

For a master’s degree, the initiative offers an MBA and a master’s degree in public management. Students can also enroll in graduate degrees in business and public management, as well as a national diploma in public administration.

The graduate certificate program offers courses in business management, credit banking, retail management, and public management.

For digital programs, courses are offered in areas such as project management, digital marketing, artificial intelligence, robotics, data science, coding, blockchain, machine learning, cybersecurity, design thinking, finance for non-financial managers and professional business writing skills. .

Ajay Dhruv, director of Digital Regenesys, believes that the cost of higher education should not prevent any human being from achieving their dreams. “EdForAll is an opportunity for every human being on planet Earth to learn, develop and awaken their potential and make their dreams come true. “

Regenesys reports that registrations for the first semester of EdForAll have been extended for an additional two weeks. For more information, click here.
