Kaunoa Senior Services is offering online classes through Zoom in August for seniors 55 and older, Maui County announced Wednesday.
The courses include:
• Move it! Monday at 8 a.m. Monday.
• Stretching at 9 a.m. on Tuesday.
• Yoga at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesdays.
• Interval training at 9 am on Wednesdays and Fridays.
• Bodybuilding at 11 a.m. on Wednesday.
• Low impact aerobics at 9 am on Thursday.
• Strength and conditioning exercises at 10 am on Thursdays.
• Range of motion exercises at 11:30 am Thursday.
• Watercolor painting on bamboo at 10 a.m. (90 minutes), August 2, 9, 16, 23, 30.
• Acrylic painting step by step at 10 a.m. (90 minutes), August 24 and 31.
• Live Your Life Well by Mental Health America of Hawaii at 11 a.m. August 16.
• Sewing: Grid Quilting at 10 a.m. on August 9.
• Successfully grow herbs at 11:00 a.m. on August 18.
• Conversations on Dementia by the Alzheimer’s Association at 3 pm on August 17.
• Cybersecurity at 11 a.m. on August 25.
• Acai Fruit Bowl at 12:30 p.m. on August 26.
• The Geographical History of Israel at 1:30 pm on August 26.
Signed waivers are required for all classes. For Zoom, course participants need an internet connection, laptop or desktop computer, smartphone or tablet with built-in microphone, camera and speakers, the county said.
