As 2021 continued to restrict students and employees to online learning and distance work, online courses remained the preferred mode of learning this year. Machine learning, python, and data analytics were the hottest courses among Indians in 2021, according to a report published by Coursera.

The list has been organized by monitoring the number of registrations on the eLearning platform. When it comes to general skills, English for Career Development continued to be the most popular course in India.

The list of top 10 Indian courses was Machine Learning, Programming for Everyone (Introductory Python), Basics: Data, Everywhere English for Career Development, Financial Markets, HTML, CSS and JavaScript for web developers, introduction to psychology, the fundamentals of user experience (UX) design among others.

Meanwhile, Financial Markets was the most attended business course on Coursera in 2021. 2021. Financial planning for young adults at the University of Illinois is another activity that the course ranked in the top ten, which indicates a growing interest in financial markets and investment advisory jobs. .

A report published by Udemy on emerging and expected trends for 2022 mentions that technical skills such as Next.Js, Python scripting and Terraform are booming in India.
