Mysore/Mysore: The Department of Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics, JSS Dental College and Hospital, Mysuru, had recently held a two-day national level online teacher training program for university/college/higher education institute teachers through the online mode recently. The goal of this program was to help teachers in the orthodontic fraternity be able to make desirable changes and achieve the common goal of making the education system more interactive and informative for all teachers and students.

The program was organized in association with the Board of Education, Indian Orthodontic Society. About 100 orthodontic fraternity teachers from across the country attended. The speakers were highly qualified medical educators, Fellows of FAIMER (Foundation for Advancement of International Medical Education and Research), Philadelphia, USA.

The President of the Indian Society of Orthodontics, Dr. Srikrishna Chalsani, the Secretary, Dr. Sridevi Padmanabhan, and the Chairman of the Board of Education, Dr. Ashish Garg, hailed the goal and vision of the program.

The main guest of the farewell speech, Dr. PA Kushalappa, Director of Studies, JSS AHER, congratulated the department and advised to organize more such informative workshops in the future.
