#InApprenticeships online course for young professionals from Youth Employment UK – FE News

In partnership with The Careers & Enterprise Company, Youth Employment UK is launching the Young professional: #In training Free online course for current apprentices this National Apprenticeship Week (February 7-13).
The course is a practical and meaningful way to support the great work being done by apprentices across the country. As part of our key joint mission of championing youth employment, we are proud to announce that the #InApprenticeship program – which combines professional confidence and career management into one – is completely free.
#In training is designed to help those who are currently learning to develop their confidence and professional knowledge. It complements the work that employers and training providers do to develop knowledge, skills and behaviors while layering career management, employability skills, well-being and personal development methods and techniques to that apprentices can continue to develop their skills from the first day of their apprenticeship until they finish. -point of evaluation and beyond.
Mapped to the Gatsby repositories, Competency Builder and CDI framework, the #In training ensures that young people and their providers can use this free resource with confidence that it is a quality, reliable personal development program.
At the end of the program, young people:
- Learn more about the skills needed for life and work
- Mastering the opportunities that their learning can offer
- Have confidence in understanding role and responsibilities, rights and how to make work, work for them
- Learn more about preparing for the endpoint assessment
- Set goals and future plans.
Young people will receive a certificate at the end of each module which their providers can use to demonstrate the independent support available to their apprentices in skills, behaviors and career development.
