Free online course on campus digital accessibility

Faculty and staff are invited to participate in a six-week self-paced online course in digital accessibility from February 7 to March 21.
- For teachers, the course offers several practical methods for integrating accessibility into face-to-face, hybrid online and online classrooms.
- For staff, you will learn accessibility methods to use in business operations, particularly if your department creates PDF files and Word documents that are posted on the uncsa.edu website and/or distributed electronically to the public.
Participants who complete the Course “Accessibility in the classroom” will successfully receive a joint certificate from NC State University and the UNC system office. The course is free and available to all UNC System and NC Community College faculty and staff. It is estimated to take around 12 hours to complete over the six weeks.
