CBSE launches online training course for teachers: how to register on the DIKSHA app

Union Human Resources Development (HRD) Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ on Wednesday launched an interactive online course on ‘experiential learning’ for teachers and school leaders.
The course was developed by CBSE in association with Tata Trust and is now available on MHRD’s DIKSHA platform. The course is free and teachers can join it in a few easy steps.
Experiential learning pedagogy enables students to relate the content of learning areas and subjects to their own lives and the world around them. This promotes self-thinking, creativity, and effective study skills in the students. It is a proven fact that rote learning when replaced by learning by doing accelerates student joy, understanding and conceptual clarity.
While the teacher facilitates and guides, the student is able to assess, think critically, make decisions and master knowledge by constructing it.
