CBSE announced the launch of free online teacher training programs – CampusVarta

After receiving overwhelming responses to its pilot technology-based teacher training program, the Center of Excellence (CoE) of the Central Council for Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the launch of free teacher training programs in line.
“This decision aims to enable teachers to teach better and improve learning outcomes, continuously inculcating new knowledge and skills as demanded in order to keep them on par with what is expected,” it reads. in a press release issued by the CBSE.
The training program will also help teachers to revise and refresh the knowledge already provided to them as part of their regular training and to make it more precise and practical.
Each online training session will be one hour long. There will be no participation fee and participants will receive an e-certificate. Around 1200 online sessions are planned by the CoEs in May.
Previously, CoEs had organized more than 500 free online training sessions for teachers on a pilot basis in April. Over 35,000 teachers and principals from various parts of the country and abroad have participated in these programs.
