This equates to 22 years, 2 months, and 12 days of a person’s life online because the average life expectancy of a Canadian is 82 years.

Over a period of one week, an average person will spend 49 hours using the Internet, which is basically two days.

Web. Long hours spent on the internet only signal the increased risk of becoming yet another victim of cybercriminals – current global circumstances make them even more active, ”said Daniel Markuson, digital privacy expert at NordVPN.

“Today, the majority of our lives can be conducted online, from payments to entertainment with TV shows and games. And that’s why we need to pay close attention to online cyber threats.

The time spent online in a typical week includes 2 hours and 31 minutes shopping, 8 hours and 19 minutes watching shows, 6 hours and 22 minutes on social media, 4 hours and 11 minutes listening to music, 6 hours and 5 minutes watching videos, 2 hours and 5 minutes on life administration, 2 hours on research, 1 hour and 57 minutes on video calls, 2 hours and 21 minutes on games, 1 hour and 36 minutes on lessons, 1 hour and 21 minutes on recipe research and 14 hours and 14 minutes on work.

The NordVPN survey was carried out by the company Norstat from August 23 to 30 with a target group aged 18 to 72.
